Gene Rindels

Vice President of Information Technology, Charles Machine Works

Since March of 2005 to the present, Mr. Rindels is responsible for the Information Technology Division at the Charles Machine Works in Perry, OK. The family of companies includes Ditch Witch, Subsite, American Augers, Hammerhead, Radius, MTI Equipment, and DW/TXS. The Charles Machine Works specializes in the design and manufacture of equipment to help put pipe and cable in the ground. With over 30 years’ experience in the area of information systems management and strategic business leadership, Gene’s career has spanned many industries. A significant portion of that time has been within manufacturing companies with a focus on SAP ERP and CRM business systems strategically leveraging this technology for both internal and external customers.

As a result of his efforts, Gene is often sought for his IT knowledge and leadership and has been interviewed in various information technology publications to include CIO magazine and Network World. Gene also enjoys volunteer work and currently serves on the Governing Board Oklahoma IT Symposium, Advisory Board InnoTech Conference Oklahoma City, Chairperson of the Oklahoma Chapter Americas SAP Users Group and the Chairperson for the Information Systems Leadership of Oklahoma. A retired serviceman, Gene spent 12 years on active duty in the Marines and concluded his military career as an Executive Officer with the Communications Squadron, 171 Air Refueling Wing, Pennsylvania Air National Guard. He retired at the rank Captain with a combined military career covering 20 years of service.

His accomplishments include developing and launching several multi-million dollar products, creating successful teams in both technology and marketing, most recently in Management/CTO/CIO roles, and turning around troubled business units, both fiscally and operationally at MV Transportation, WesTower Communications and Zero Chaos, among others.

An innovative, loyal, and results-orientated professional with strong technical, communication and interpersonal skills. Proven history in surpassing targets within deadline, regardless of obstacles. Extensive experience in all aspects of Information Technology including project management, Software Development and Software Engineering, LAN and WAN Networking and Architecture, Data Warehousing and Mining, Product Development, Quality Assurance, All phases of Internet Technology, and Team Building and mentoring.

Brian is an Executive leader with over 20 years’ experience in IS IT. Currently supporting 3 diverse corporations while utilizing an innovative and entrepreneurial approach to technology that is aligned with the business goals and objectives and using technology as a driver for success. Responsibilities include, budgeting, planning, DRP/BCP, operations, application development and integration, network architecture, communications, ERP, CRM, enterprise reporting, BI, data warehousing, security, vendor and project management.

A motivational leader that believes in cultivating a positive working environment through coaching and the promotion of teamwork maximizing both individual and team contributions to achieve desired results.

Randy Witt

Director of Global Information Technology, Briggs and Stratton

Randall Witt is a senior IT executive with extensive experience in creating strategies and plans that define IT operational excellence. His broad industry experience includes aviation, manufacturing, retail, insurance, distribution, utilities, and service organizations. With strong security, risk management, and compliance expertise, coupled with in-depth experience in building and managing enterprise infrastructures, he offers a composite of technical expertise, business knowledge, and relationship management skills essential in ensuring the position of IT services as a key partner in driving company success.

Witt presently holds the position of Director of Global IT for Briggs & Stratton Corporation, headquartered in Milwaukee, WI. In this role, he leads world-wide IT services for 10,000 employees in over 55 manufacturing, sales and warehouse operations with a “cloud first” strategy and is transforming IT to become a broker of IT Services through strategic global partners (both on and offshore). Several current initiatives include a SAP HANA upgrade, a HCM upgrade, warehouse management, e-commerce replatforming, cloud, mobility, analytics, disaster recovery, industry 4.0 and further inroads into the Internet of Things (IoT).

He earned an Executive MBA from the University of Minnesota and a BS concentrating in computer science from North Carolina State University as well as a MS in Information Management from Syracuse University. A certified Six Sigma Green Belt, he holds many technical certifications, including the PMP and several ITIL-related credential. He also received his CISM security certification
